Momma; You were my biggest supporter, you were always there for me good times and bad. When I made mistakes (which was quite often) you taught me how to fix them, you even fixed quite a few of them yourself. When we first met I was 19 in the Navy and had no family in San Diego, you took care of me as if I was your son. When Poppa was against me marrying Diann you stood up for me. And when I did do something right you always told me good job. I will always remember your love,support and fairness. Mom,
First of all, Thank You for carrying me for 9 months and giving me life! It feels harder this time since Daddy's passing on April 16, 2013! Maybe because I still had you to care for and now I don't you both are gone now! Mom you were an amazing,wonderful, beautiful Mom. I know you and Daddy were very strict with us girls but you had a very special bond with me and Eva. I could talk to you with the bad and the good things in my life and I appreciate that so much.  Your legacy of wisdom, pride and the Love of family that you and Daddy showed us will hopefully move on to the boys and their family.  Mom I know how much you missed Daddy, you never Stop asking for him. I know that deep down in my broken heart you are with him and Eva and finally meeting your baby girl Sheila. Mom I just don't know what to do without you because you have always been here all my life!  I hope I was a good daughter to you Mom and my Daddy?  I miss you so much and you will always live in my Heart now and forever. Tell Daddy, Eva and Sheila that I love them all and to make room for me when my time comes. You changed my life so very much. You constantly urged me to return to school and continue on to college. You pushed uncle Bart to get me a job at Nassco and after 35 years I retired after being in charge of the transportation  dept. Everything I have accomplished I owe to you. You gave me the nudge I needed.  I will forever thank you and you will be always be in my heart.

Although we are sad to see you go we know that you are now in a better place and filled with happiness to be back with our beloved Dada.  You were such a light of love and happiness.  You had so much spunk and made us laugh all the time.  We will never forget you and your life lessons and your words of wisdom will live on within all of us as you deeply touched each one of our lives.  We are grateful for the time we got to spend with you and all the wonderful memories that we have to share for years to come.  We love you so very much and will miss you greatly.  May you rest in peace knowing that you have left a beautiful and inspiring mark on your family and that you raised an amazing daughter. When our family first moved to East Mountain View Drive, it didn't take long to figure out that Juanita and Bart Diaz were the heart of our new neighborhood.  Juanita kept vigil in her chair on the porch, always every inch the little queen.  She had a sharp wit and beautiful eyes that never missed a thing.  Her family was her pride and joy and it was evident that she would do anything for them.  It has been our family's great privilege to know Juanita and Bart these past years.  A tiny pain always goes through our hearts when we see their chairs, sitting empty, on the porch.  But a great legacy of love and caring has been passed to Juanita's wonderful daughter Diann, and Son-In-Law, Dan.  Their kindness to our family is without equal.  We love you and remember -- if you need us -- just hit speed dial.
