During his lifetime "Joe" served in the Navy during WWII, received an Honorable discharge, learned a trade, - cement finisher, which he continued for over 35 years.
Joe married Frances Mogavero " The love of his life" in 1948 in Buffalo N.Y.
In 1950 they had their first child, David followed in 1952 by their second child, Diane.
In 1959 the family moved to San Diego, Ca.
Joe became a business agent for the cement finishers union towards the end of his working days.
In retirement Joe enjoyed golf, attending his grandchildrens sporting events, photography, and galavanting with Frances.
Joe is survived by their 2 children, nieces and nephews
6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Committal Service will be at Miramar National Cemetery on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1:30 p.m.
