John Tracy Nelson, age 90, of Oceanside, California passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
Born in San Diego
Graduated Kearny High School. Survived by his wife Leah Nelson of 70 years , 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. John and Leah were married in England where he served in the Air Force. After returning to the states, John began a successful career as President of Nelson Photo Supplies in downtown San Diego. John was highly respected in business and was loved by all his employees. John excelled in sports as a young man with baseball and football being the primary sports and was an avid golfer into his later years. He was an incredible husband and provider for his family. He will be greatly missed.
