It’s clear Jhed has made such an impact on so many people. His humor, wit, and charisma captured the hearts of many, especially mine and I will always have special place in my heart for him. Together, we challenged each other to grow and take risks, to think a little differently, and shared once in a lifetime experiences that I will forever treasure. I think about the big adventures like Vietnam, Thailand, and Mexico  - I’m glad I convinced you to go on all those trips with me. To the little adventures like camping, redecorating, and cooking. You always said time was your most valuable resource, you made sure to never waste it, and I’m honored I had that time with you. I’m also lucky to have seen the many sides of Jhed, not just the social and fun Jhed - but the quiet and reflective Jhed, the grumpy and tired Jhed, the family time Jhed, the homeowner Jhed, the career Jhed, the doggy-daddy Jhed. Thanks for always being yourself around me Jhed. I appreciate that I was able to share your life with you, if only for a little while. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to see you in the end, but hope you are now at peace in paradise. Sending you, your family and your friends so much love and comfort now and always.

It's been years since I've spoken to Jhed- since high school. When I found out the news of his passing I was devastated. Jhed was a light, he was funny, positive, and so easy to get along with. I have nothing but positive words and memories when I think of him.  I wish I had gotten the opportunity to see him when i had the chance and I'm sorry I didn't. The world lost him too soon. I am so sorry that his closest friends and family are experiencing this loss. My condolences and heart go out to you. 

Jhed i should have taken seriously when you said that' if i lost wt that you would give any designer handbag i want...but it didnt happened, but i promise you my dearest nephew that even now that your up in heaven looking down on us that i will do it for you and to myself, even without the designer purse...

My heart aches to hear your loss. I remember Jhed who was playing inside his crib, the first time I met him at Arlene’s house. He grew up to be such a nice, pleasant and such a good looking young man. 

MJ, Edwin, and family I know you are all surrounded with love and support.  May the eternal light shine upon Jhed and may he Rest In Peace.

I was blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Jhed on many occasions.  He may have considered me a mentor, but I was the one that learned so much. Jhed was one of the most optimistic people I knew that believed anything was possible. I loved his amazing sense of humor, and love for 90's music.

I met Jhed in the beginning of 2018 through new friends I made from the Digital Nomad Summit that was held in Chiangmai, Thailand. 

Together with a group of friends we went to one of the main parks in the city where they held the annual floral festival. It was a beautiful hot sunny day full of laughs and smiles. The park was decorated with many flowers and displays, it was gorgeous. We sat in the park sharing mangoes and other local snacks, we chatted, shared stories and jokes. 

Another favorite part of the day was when we got local coconut ice cream from the street vendor where Jhed showed off his beatboxing skills and our efforts to rap along. I remember having so much fun and laughing so hard. It was such a special day and wouldn’t have been the same without his company.

 Jhed had amazing energy and he was so full of life. I always hoped to see him again and get the chance to hangout more. I will always remember that day in the park and Jhed’s awesome smile! 

I was so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Jhed at I.d.e.a. It was the best team I’ve ever been on and I have never experienced anything liken that since. We worked hard and played harder with Disney trips, filming random videos, beer tastings, and intense foosball matches. Jhed was always an incredible light and energy in any room he was in. He was the coworker I would go to when I needed a laugh and he taught me so much early on in my career. I remember him talking about his passion for making videos and his dreams to travel one day. I am so glad he was able to achieve both of those dreams have seen his beautiful travel videos. Though we have not spoken in awhile, it broke my heart to hear the news as I know what an amazing person he was. My heart is with his friends and family and I know how much he will be missed.

I met Jhed through an old job many years ago. He always had a smile and the best attitude! Our little work family was the best and I will always keep that memory close to my heart! Thinking of you Jhed!!  My prayers that he is in paradise and looking down on all of us. xoxo

I’m so very sorry to hear about the passing of Jhed.  My names Olly, from the UK. I met Jhed in Chiang Mai, Thailand a few years ago when he was travelling through South East Asia. 

We met through a mutual friend and he came to hang out with our group for a few weeks. We instantly all clicked and you could tell straight away Jhed was a really great guy, full of stories and laughter.

Myself and Jhed ended up spending a few days together as I showed him around the city. We toured the incredibly impressive temples whilst he filmed them avidly. His attention to detail was evident and he obviously enjoyed being as creative as possible where ever he went. He put together a great film of those few days, it turned out even better than I imagined. We had a really good laugh, even though it was only for a short time.

I’m very sorry to hear about his passing, I was not aware of his battle but you could tell he wanted to enjoy life as much as possible. Myself and the rest of the Chiang Mai group will miss him.

I don’t even know where to begin but to echo the memories and love of those who have offered their condolences and kind words about Jhed. I have never met someone as humble, kind, crazy smart and passionate as him. I worked with Jhed on the marketing team at LEWIS and was instantly enamored by the way he loved life and poured himself into anything he did. From blasting Ja Rule on the speakers to talking about our favorite foods and countries, Jhed left light wherever he went. 

Thank you for the memories Jhed. Thank you for showing countless people how to fall in love with life, curiosity and adventure. You will be missed immeasurably. I know there’s tons of Y2K hits playing in heaven right now.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Jhed for two wonderful years at SOCi. When Jhed walked into the office, the energy in the room shifted and the air felt lighter. Like beautiful magic, I know very few people who have that kind of effect. 

At some point early in those two years, he proclaimed he had become a morning person, and I was very much still not. One of those mornings he walked in singing Color Me Bad’s “All 4 Love”, decided to play it through the speakers, and I was laughing and toe-tapping before my coffee was finished. He had great (albeit sometimes questionable) taste in music, and I will always think of him when that song comes on shuffle. It’s happy-go-lucky, goofy, and inviting - just like Jhed. 

He made us excited to go to work every day, not knowing what fun, new, creative shenanigans we might get into, but always feeling like we belonged. Whether we were brainstorming bigger and better things over craft brews, or riding around in his stylish sidecar, or walking Stella around the block to get tacos, each interaction was a positive one. 

Jhed told me he strived to be a lifelong learner, and I agreed that was the best possible thing for any of us to be - to take chances and continue exploring our curiosities upon any circumstance. Because of that very outlook, he not only became life’s brightest student, but each of us ended up learning so much from him as our teacher.

It's hard to know where to start. Jhed and I met at Ad2 and became really close. It was serendipitous that when he decided to travel around the world I was living in Thailand and we were able to spend several weeks together in Chaing Mai, going to hippy festivals, eating coconut ice cream, spending time with friends, and exploring the world. 

He was a rock while we were together. He grounded me and helped support me as I was homesick, and missing the longer relationships of back home. 

We traveled together to Malaysia, trecking through canverns, having so many food adventures, visiting the playgrounds, and aquariums, forests and just gaining a beautiful perspective. 

When I was in Malaysia I was assaulted for the first time on the street while walking by myself and Jhed was my shoulder to cry on. He lent me support, care, and kept me company to ensure I was safe, didn't feel threatened or alone. 

He had my back- and I know the same is true for so many others. 

I'll miss you Jhed and our wonderful adventures. 

To Jhed's family, your son was the kindest of kind. 

I met Jhed through work when he would travel to the San Francisco office. It goes without saying that Jhed was our most beloved visitor and instantly became a friend of mine. Easy to talk to and be around, he was someone I looked forward to seeing whenever he would make his trips. Over work drinks, he would tell me of his creative passions and what he was trying to do with the internal marketing team to "spice things up." My absolute favorite creative project he worked on is when he made everyone taste this weird San Fransicso-based macaroni. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at work. I'm laughing and crying right now, just thinking about it. Our friendship spanned cities and when I would visit SD he would always make time for me. Although we were brought together as co-workers, I can honestly say he was one of the only real friends I made at LEWIS. I feel grateful to have known him, and I am so, so sorry for your loss. I smile when I think of him, he will not be forgotten.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jhed during my time at Ad2SD and he was the nicest and friendliest person to be around.

I owe a great deal to Jhed in a myriad of ways. When I first moved to San Diego from Mississippi I didn't know anyone and was brand new to a big city. I found out about a networking event at Half Door Brewing and went to try and find some job leads where I ran into Jhed. I didn't realize how fortunate I was to have one of the very first people I met in San Diego also be one of the best. He immediately engaged me and got me an interview at SOCi where I had the real pleasure of working as a graphic designer with him for a couple of years on a small team. Jhed and his vibrant personality was the hinge upon which the whole company culture turned. He was a friend to me, a mentor, and an encouragement to me each and every day. I'll miss nerding out about music and beer and playing golf. Jhed had a unique presence about him—one that always made you feel at ease and hopeful. Jhed brought levity to everything and everyone around him. His spirit was an indiscriminate light of encouragement on others and I feel so privileged to have personally felt it in my own life. I pray the peace of God would be with the whole Flores family and that you find encouragement as you see the impact he had on everyone around him.

Jhed was one of a kind and beyond an incredible person.  He was so full of life, laughter and creativity and wish he was able to share that with the world a little longer. I don’t think I know another person who has done life better than him or lived in the moment like he did. The world was definitely a better place with him in it and a lot more fun. 

Ill cherish the friendship and the adventures we had and the memories we made over the years, and will always think about the success our podcast would have been with Heather if we actually got around to doing it.... 

Ad2, Boca Raton, craft beers, almost missing planes, sia and drinkin outta cups will always make me smile and think of you. You were a big part of my San Diego life and journey and I’m blessed to have called you a friend Jhedsy. I’ll miss you deeply and pray for you and your loved ones. 💔

Where I am today, it's because of Jhed. I was a bit lost when I reconnected with Jhed at a wedding a few summers ago. We had worked together at i.d.e.a. (our first real agency jobs), and since then, our paths had diverged. Sitting across from him at our table, he talked about this new department he was helping to spearhead, and if I was interested in helping out, well, he'd be happy to give me some work. He took a chance on me, taught me everything I needed to know, mentored me, and was a shoulder of support, a beacon of positivity and light that I will hold on to forever.

When we both ended up leaving our roles, he again reached out, offering a job and an opportunity for me, if I ever needed it. That's just who he was.

I'll miss our Taco Stand breaks, walks around the block, Crack Shack cravings, our homebrew collabs (Dale's Mom Ale for life), and general hijinx we'd always manage to get ourselves into.

Thank you, Jhed. You are missed. 

Jhed was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I met Jhed probably 10 years ago and was lucky enough to get to know him while working together at several companies over that time.  Working with Jhed always made my days better. He could take a dreadful day and find the humor in it and find a way to focus on the good. 

Jhed and I, while at High10, used to close the office early in the afternoon and go play golf. I'd look at him and say "Golf time?" and he'd instantly reply "You know it" and he'd be packed in seconds and out the door saying "I'm gonna go let Stella out, see you there."

I am lucky to have had Jhed in my life. Jhed's spirit will live on forever in those that knew him and loved him. 

My sincerest condolences to the entire Flores family. Jhed will forever be remembered.
