Jim Oberle, 67, of San Diego passed away peacefully of coronary artery disease. Born in Mankato, MN, he came to San Diego with his family at age 10. He attended Our Lady of Angels School and was a proud graduate of St. Augustine High School, '63. He leaves behind his wife, Karen, daughters, Michelle (Thomas), Jennifer (Stuart) and four grandsons, Charlie, Tommy, Matthew and Tyler. A Vietnam veteran he worked as an airline mechanic (PSA, USAirways) for 30 years. After retirement, Jim enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, gardening, sharing his love of cooking, spending time with his grandsons and meeting with his book club. Services to be hel December 12 at 10:00 am, at the St. Augustine High School Chapel. 3266 Nutmeg Street, San Diego, CA.
