Isabella Frances Crivello

CRIVELLO, ISABELLA FRANCES September 28, 1918 to January 11, 2013 Our beloved Isabella Frances Crivello was born in San Diego, California in 1918. She was the seventh of ten children born to Andrea and Preziosa Castagnola. She married Sam Crivello on February 9, 1937 and they shared 57 years of marriage that resulted in four children. Isabella was a loving Mother and her family always came first. She will be deeply missed. Isabella is survived by her children, Mario (Serafina) Crivello, Esther (Peter) Castagnola, Andrew Crivello, and Salvatore (Angela) Crivello; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, Florence Sanfillipo (sister), Andrew Castagnola (brother) and Joe Castagnola (brother). She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Crivello, her daughter-in-law Paulette Crivello, her sisters Katie, Jennie, Benadita and Palmira and her brothers Louie and John. Isabella was an active member of her Church. She belonged to the Our Lady of the Rosary Guild, ICF and Our Lady of the Rosary Society. She was also a benefactor to Scripps Memorial Hospital. The family would like to express a special thank you to Essie Jordan for the nine years of caregiving she provided Isabella. The Rosary and Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 17th.
