Known fondly for his kindness, sense of humor, and vivid storytelling, Hiep brought laughter and joy to many throughout his life. An accomplished boxer and athlete in his youth, he later served with dedication as a security officer for the South Vietnamese Armed Forces, and later as a business owner.
Above all, Hiep was a devoted husband to his beloved late wife, Suzie Thu Nguyen, for 63 years. He was a loving patriarch to a large and cherished family, including his eleven children, seventeen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered for the warmth, strength, and laughter he shared so generously with everyone he knew.
A private service will be held at El Camino Memorial Park, San Diego, California on April 25, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
