Ha Minh Ta was born January 15, 1994 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and is the second son of Hien Kieu (Mother) and Ngay Ta (Father). He is also survived by two siblings, Truc Minh Ta and Giang Ta as well as a niece, Marcella Ta.
After Ha graduated from Scripps Ranch High School, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts and spent two years studying at the University of Massachusetts while working at a bank. This experience helped him decide that he wanted to pursue a career in management for financial institutions. He moved back to San Diego to be closer to his aging parents and finished his Associate’s degree at San Diego Mesa College. He also completed his Bachelor of Science in Management at the University of Phoenix. Ha was planning to continue his education to obtain a Master’s degree at the request of his loving mother.
Ha was working at Bank of America for two years after he returned to San Diego. He started as a teller and was later promoted to a relationship banker. Everyone that worked with Ha expressed that he was an exceptional employee. Not only that, he was a close friend among many. He was the foundation of the Ta Family, providing both financial and emotional support for his parents and niece. He was a gentle person, always compassionate and willing to help others before himself. In his spare time, he loved to have long conversations with his mom and dad, spend time with his friends sharing meals and making memories, as well as play video games. If he wasn’t out with his friends, he was spending time at his second family’s home with Linda Ho, Quoc Dinh and Davis Ho. Ha was always a family man and cherished his time with everyone he loved.
