Native of Porticello, Sicily. Arrived in the New York January, 1947, arriving in San Diego March, 1947.
Survived by beloved husband of 65 years, Emil V. Piraino; father of Lawrence Piraino and Mary Ann Medina (Steven); grandmother of 5; great-grandmother of 9; brother of Ignazio Sanfilippo (Angela) and family, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
