Gladys White aka Mommie, age 102, of San Diego, California passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Gladys was born December 12, 1919 in Shelby, Texas. She graduated from Hoover High School. She worked for Children's Hospital for 25 years and then retired.
She was very close to her father and sister who she is joined with now and her daughter who passed away when she was 11 years old. She leaves behind family and friends who love her dearly.
Mommie was very fashionable. She loved to dress to impress. She loved her family dearly. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, playing cards and dominoes. We will miss her laughter and watching her do the "jitter bug"
A funeral service for Mommie will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Cypress View Mausoleum.
