Daddy, There are so many memories that I don't know where to start. My childhood in Topeka, moving to California, dating Bernie when I was just 16.  Getting married and children.  You were always there for support and guidance.  Bernie & I love you and will miss you always.....Cheryl & Bernie

There are really so many special memories that will always make my heart smile....Dinners at Hometown Buffet, Christmas family gatherings, the birth of my children, but there is one memory in particular that will forever hold a special place in my heart.  My wedding day.  I had so many emotions I couldn't distinguish one from another, but I know that when I asked you to walk me down the isle, and give me away...that I was going to be okay.  And even though I didn't have much family of my own, you treated me as though I was already part of yours. It was so very special to me. I will miss you, but feel blessed to have the memories that I do, and will smile every time I think of them.  Thank you!

Grandpa, I have so many great memories.  There are too many to share!  Thank you for being such an amazing grandpa and always taking us places.  We truly had a charmed childhood and you were a huge part of that.  I know you are in a better place now and I will see you again one day.  I miss you and love you very much.

My father was the inspiration of my life. Raised in the depression and coming of age in world war 2, he had a sensibility I wished I could emulate. He taught me how to repair things. Cars in particular. He, Mom and I worked in the rain taking the front of a motor off and on because that was how he did it. It didn't matter if it was raining, we don't need to take it to a mechanic. I will miss him. Thanks for everything you gave me Dad. I hope to pass it on.
