Frank McKenna (age82). Born in New York City, Frank later went on to become a legendary figure in Chula Vista. In his life, he swam the Harlem River, attended seminary for three, daily meals, married the beautiful Mary Mannion, convinced a cab driver to take a chicken as payment, opened a thriving business, wrote the hit song "234-354," raised twelve children and was the shining light in his grandkids' lives. He always said, "If you act enthusiastic, you will be enthusiastic" and he lived according to this. He was a passionate insurance man with the gift of gab, a love of Ireland, a knack for writing and a green thumb. His funeral service will be held May 13 at St. Joseph's Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. We miss you, we love you and we'll never forget you.
