Evelyn “Belen” Elbancol Jiao, 72, passed away on December 26, 2023. She was born in the Philippines on March 25, 1951 where she went to school and got a degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She came to the United States where she met and married Ira Jiao with whom she happily lived until her passing. Evelyn was a very caring person who always had this unforgettable smile on her. She was a person that exudes love and concern when talking to her. She is survived by her husband Ira, brothers Danilo, Abraham, and Rafael. She will be greatly missed by everyone around her. Visitation and rosary service will be held on January 9, 2023 at El Camino Memorial – Sorrento Valley & Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92121. A funeral Mass will be held on January 10, 2023 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8200 Gold Coast Dr, San Diego CA 92126.
