Eva Cathryn Oliver Clark returned home on Friday, April 7, 2023. She was born on February 18, 1927 in Tallassee Alabama to Lorenzo D. Oliver and Eva Cordellia Gilliland. She grew up on a farm and was the youngest of 11 children. She attended Secretarial School and received her degree. She married William R. Clark on August 19, 1945 in Montgomery Alabama. After a whirlwind ride on a 1940 Harley-Davidson, from Alabama to California, they started their family, having four boys. Eva was very involved in Church as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and with the Boy Scouts of America. She had different teaching responsibilities, including Relief Society and Primary. She was also very active with Church potlucks. She served in the temple regularly also travelling to Salt Lake to be with her sister and do temple work. Eva was in the nursing field for over 40 years. She was always eager to assist those in her circle of family and friends. She was very active in the Rolando Women's Club, the Elk's Club, the American Legion and the VFW. Her hobbies were dancing, taking hula lessons, modeling, gardening and travel. She is proceeded in death by her husband and three of her sons, Stanley R. Clark, Mark O. Clark and Timothy M. Clark. She is survived by her son Edward H. Clark, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 12:00 pm. With her viewing from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at El Camino Memorial.
