Echodell Barbara Wilson Vaught Wynant was born in El Centro, California on March 28, 1922 and passed away on December 22, 2013. She was the youngest of nine children and attended El Centro High School. She and her husband Frank Vaught moved to San Diego in 1944. She served as a bookkeeper for Southern California Music Company and for subsequent medical practices during her professional career. She was preceded in death by her husbands Frank Vaught and Dale Wynant. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Blackinton of La Mesa, her son Brent Vaught of San Diego, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at College Avenue Baptist Church on Sunday December 29th at 2pm. Memorial gifts in memory could be directed to the “Deaconess Fund” of the Church.
