Dorothy Faye McCown born September 28th 1929 near Ardmore Oklahoma passed peacefully after visits and farewells from many friends and family at 11:50 PM on September 6th 2014 having lived nearly 85 years. She lived an exceptional life. She lived in San Diego for 66 years a property manager, church member, homemaker, mother, and grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband Everett she is survived by two sisters Jean Trimble of Houston TX and Nelda Trent of Durant OK. She is also survived by her son Gary of San Diego and she was a devoted grandmother to Monica and Jonathan-Michael. Services will be at the First Church of the Nazarene on Monday September 15th at 1:00 pm in San Diego.
