Donald "Pat" Patrick Garoutte

Donald Patrick Garoutte, our dear friend “Pat”, faithful loving husband and father, was called to join our Heavenly Father and his many family members and friends in after a long battle with cancer. Pat passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022. He is survived by his beautiful loving wife of 16 years Gloria Garoutte. Pat left quite an amazing legacy with his children Michelle Gutierrez, Michael Garoutte, Daniel Garoutte and Carla Pena along with his 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with his passing. He is also survived by Gloria’s son Jerry, wife Karen and their 3 sons. Pat faithfully served as a Specialist 3 Technician, Paratrooper in the Army volunteering to jump to his destiny when deployed. Pat’s first love was spending time in La Jolla where he was born. He attended La Jolla Junior and Senior High School. He spent countless days/years at the cove diving along with surfing at Tourmaline Beach with his many friends. He was also an avid fisherman making many trips throughout the states with his son and his faithful bird Porky. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Graveside services will be held at El Camino Mortuary, Saturday, March 19th at 11:00a.m.
