In memory of our mother, Denise Minieri, we want everyone to know that Amanda and I appreciate the loving kindness you have shown us during this time of mourning.
My mom was one-of-a-kind. She was benevolent, caring and loyal to her family and friends. She was also a business woman, who was fiercely independent and believed that women need to be able to take care of themselves with or without a partner. She taught us the importance of education and that knowledge is power, but also a vehicle of understanding for those less fortunate. 
We will miss her very much. We have solace in knowing that she lived a full life both in her native country of Morocco as well as in the United States. May her memory forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
