David “Speedy” Gonzales, was born August 15, 1952 in San Angelo, Texas. He was chosen by God to join Him as an Angel in heaven on May 23, 2012 in San Diego, California. David is survived by his parents Lamar and Manual Salas, sisters Patsy and Ernie, children David, Carmen and Jesse as well as grandchildren Dominique, Alizé, Isaiah, Devyn and Nazalia. His love for music will keep him forever in our hearts. He fought a long hard battle of illnesses and now may rest in peace.
