Christine “Tina” Villalovos Wilber age 67 years, passed away in Loma Linda, California on May 24, 2018, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Harold Robinson “Rob” Wilber of Menifee, CA, two sons Teddy Allen Eubanks from San Diego, CA and Dak Anthony Eubanks from Tijuana, Mexico. Grandchildren, Carli and Teddy Eubanks Jr. from Pacific Beach, CA and Great Granddaughter, Leilani Rueben of Pacific Beach, CA. Sister, Yvonne Bell from Alpine, CA, along with many other family members and friends that she loved so dearly.
Tina was born on January 4, 1951 in Bakersfield, CA and was raised in the rural community of Buttonwillow, CA. In 1984, she met her husband Rob while he was stationed in San Diego as an attorney for the Navy and she was pursuing her professional career as a singer in San Diego. In 2011, they moved to Menifee, CA until her passing.
She truly loved music at an early age, and she was raised in a family that was very musical. By the time Tina was in grammar school, she was known by everyone in her school for her singing gift. Tina had a very powerful voice and her talent included her ability to sing fan-requested, favorite R&B and pop songs of their day. Her musical gift allowed her to sing professionally for more than 20 years; where she recorded demos for Motown and sang in popular dance bands and clubs within Kern and San Diego Counties.
Tina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and there was nothing more important to Tina than her family. She loved doting on her grandchildren and great granddaughter and she will be remembered as the true heart of her family that kept everyone centered.
She was such a giving person and always donated to numerous non-profit organizations which involved animals, military/veteran, catholic and health care charities. She will be truly missed for her ability to make everyone laugh, affection of music and dancing, spirituality, encouraging advice and counsel, and unconditional love to family and friends.
Tina is preceded in death by her mother, Maria A. Villalovos Bell.
The family extends a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Loma Linda University Health for their compassionate care. Our deepest gratitude to family and friends that were there during her end of life.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that you would consider donating to a non-profit charitable organization in memory of Christine Wilber.
