When we were children, Uncle Charles, and Uncle Noble, and Daddy were really cutting up everytime the three of them were together.  All the while Granddad would sit there peering over the top of his newspaper pretending that he didn't see all of the nonsense.  We kids loved sitting around and listening to all of their stories so that we could join in the fun.  

After Daddy died, I visited California and Uncle Charles looked so much like my father that it took my breath away.  It was so wonderful.

I also remember how much we enjoyed our visit out for both Aunt Ruth's and Uncle Charles 80th birthdays.  

So many good memories.

I remember Charles always smiling, joking, and especially making sounds similar to onomatopoeia.  At the county fair, he would tell pretty girls that they should know who I am.  We had a lot of laughs.  I always looked forward to seeing Charles' family come visit.  One of the best parts of the human experience, to me, is seeing resemblances.  Every human soul is worth a thousand wonderful stories penned by God.  I cherish these memories and you all for being a huge impact on my life.   Thank you!!
