Dear Joe,
You and Kathy are both in our hearts and memory. 
All we can remember of you both are  joy, kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness.
We always have such a great time together, With you in China, and both of you in Hawaii, in Pebble Beach,  Cooking Papa,.  Our time spend together are always so much fun.  We always look forward for the next rendezvous.
Death is just a short parting. Cathy is visiting God .
We will always see each other again.

We had the immense honor and fortune of knowing Cathy Wu for over 10 years, ever since she and her husband Joe moved down to San Diego from the Bay Area.  Joe is a 1952 graduate of Pui Ching High School in Hong Kong, and we came to know them through those circles where they were active and enthusiastic supporters of the local alumni chapter.

Cathy had a generous, thoughtful, and humble spirit. Combined with a wonderful sense of humor, she was someone who always had a plan as well as a lot of life wisdom to give. She once told Kitty: “Kitty, you can’t be too poor as we get older, you have to make sure to invest now in order to have a lot of things happening in the future.”  With careful planning and by making wise choices, one created opportunity to live a joyful and fulfilling life. Cathy was a living example of this.

We would like to share some pictures of some of the special times we had with Cathy, enjoying alumni gatherings and entertaining classmates.
