I could not believe it when Ron told me over the phone last night that you are gone. You were the strongest, fiercest woman I know. We ran so many miles together during college and after graduation, and I could never catch up to you! Those were formative years, as we grew into adulthood together, cheering each other on. I am so sorry that you left us way too soon, but I know I will see you again. We will run forever and never be weary. God bless Ron and your beautiful family. 

June, 1990. I’ll never forget when Chris and I met you and Ron in Cozumel. The fishing boat excursion was one for the books. We continued our friendship in LA and remained friends as our families moved to different cities and than states (us).
You will forever be remembered as one of the most kind and humbled souls that walked this earth. Carrie, your life made such a difference. You and Ron have created a family that will remain strong as they navigate their new normal.
I will forever be grateful for our 30 year friendship.
