Carl Neilson

Carl Neilson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A graduate of OU, where he played football. He served with the US Air Force. While serving , he met the love of his life Katherine. He ran his own business in Sacramento, until he moved his family to San Diego. He was a corporate executive, who retired from Hughes. He enjoyed playing bridge, being an usher at St. Therese Parish, and coaching youth sports. His passions were his faith, helping people, volunteering at Sharp Senior services and employee health.

He leaves behind his loving wife Katherine, three children Kathy( Rafael), Eddie and Lisa (Keith) , as well as five grandchildren Jason, Brandon, Cassie, Nate and Corie.

A rosary will be said at St. Therese Parish church Friday February 15th at 10:00 am, followed by services at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in Carls’ name to St. Therese Parish Church at 6016 Camino Rico, San Diego. Private burial at Holy Cross.
