You came across my mind today, I had no idea of your passing but I met you here in Kansas when you were stationed here. May you Rest In Peace. Definitely a kind soul 

Bryan was such an amazing guy. We dated back in 2011 and he was the sweetest boyfriend I ever had. He sent me a teddy bear that smelled like chocolate for Valentines Day 2012. I have a pair of his dog tags. If anyone in the family would like them please email me and I will get them to you. I’m so sorry for your loss. 

Truly hurted to hear about my friend. Bryan was a great individual to be around. We first met at Balboa Hospital where we worked together for over 2 years. Those were some great times with a great group of individuals. Bryan was always positive and always looked out for his peers. I remember the first time going out with Bryan. He had me rolling the whole night. Always was funny and had been the most fun to be around. Really gonna miss you brother and we got Rochelle and your sons. They are not alone. RIH bro this is not goodbye. Just see you later🙏🏿

Man, this one really hurts. I was Bryan's boss for a brief moment at the hospital in San Diego. When I say brief, I mean that it was long enough for us to become good friends and for him to show me what a good person he was, yet not long enough to see all the good he did after I left. 
Bryan was a talented guy in that he always had the ability to get through to others. He was always there to be the voice of reason when I needed to see or hear things from a different perspective. I didn't keep in contact with very many people after I left the Navy, but I have always looked to see what Bryan was up to. Watching him finally start a family was an amazing thing to see, especially after it felt like I just saw him come into the office grinning because he got a date with a girl.
It is really hard for me to come to terms with the fact that he is not here anymore because I felt like he had so much more love left in him to spread around. You were always my guy to watch and talk about soccer or to share funny pictures and laugh at work. We used to sneak out for lunch all the time and would just make work better by being there for each other.  I appreciate the fact that I was one of the people who got to spend time with him during his life as he was someone that helped shaped who I am today. Thank you for doing your best and I hope you knew how proud I was to call you one of my guys to everyone at that hospital. Rest easy man.,

Bryan was one of the kindest souls I have ever met. He would always ask about my daughter, and we would laugh at the funny moments our kids had growing up. I could count on him for anything work related, and loved how he meshed his family life with our work family. He will be missed terribly. I know he can see the direct impact his presence had on all of us. Rest in Heaven HM2 Velasquez. 

I met Bryan my 11th grade year of high school he was always kind & cracking jokes with a bright smile on his face . One of the funniest moments with him was prom night seemed like nothing was going right the ac to our limo went out and it was late but we all made the best of it & had a great time he will truly be miss❤️

Bry I’m heartbroken. It would be impossible to explain in 2000 characters how you impacted my life. I’m grateful that our lives crossed paths. I thank you for being the big brother I never had. I thank you for bringing light and laughter into not only my life but my whole family. I thank you for being you. I love you always

I first met Bry about 17 yrs ago. His mom Ann and I became very good friends instantly. She came over to get her hair braided then in comes Bryan! Full speed ahead! He automatically made his presence felt! He didn't want to leave! It warmed my heart to see his interactions with my kids! He and my son became good friends! He felt comfortable and acted as if he had known us for yrs! I absolutely loved his spirit and I'm truly heartbroken to learn of his passing. Bry...i know you truly lived a good life and I know in spirit you are still here. Please continue to watch over your family from above. Rip angel you will be forever missed.❤

Bryan was an amazing young man. I met Bryan for the first time at my daughter’s  sweet 16 and what a gentleman he was. Bryan was in band with my Alexis in high school. He played on the drum line. My family had the privilege of Bryan spending part of his senior year on our couch like most of the others from East. Bryan became one of our sons (the sons we never had). We got to see Bryan played on the drum line, go to prom and graduated from high school. The greatest gift was knowing we were able to help him join the Navy. Where he had a wonderful career. Thanks to Facebook we got to see Bryan meet the love of his life Rochelle his wife. We go to see them raising two beautiful boys. Bry you left such an impact on my family and so many others. You are the reason Raejah joined band and played on drum line. Both my girls loved you so much. You were a big brother to Raejah. You have made us all so proud of you. May you rest in heaven Bryan. You will forever hold a special place in our family. Here is a picture of you did best at my house. Love you

Bryan was the most gentle and kind man that I’ve met. We’ve shared so many memories together that it’s hard to pick a singular one. I believe that the reason we grew closer was due to us sharing the same passion for family and for motorcycles. He brought me into his life and to his home, we became family. I had the pleasure of meeting his beautiful wife Rochelle and his amazing two sons Leo and Luis. I guess my fondest memory of him would be the last time we all hung out together on thanksgiving. We spent all night laughing and enjoying our time being among our family. Even with him gone, his memory will live on through every person he had an influence in.

Bryan and I shared a ton of fond memories, from going to Wendy’s for lunch, to hanging around with our duty section to driving all the way from Chicago to California. However my favorite memory with Bryan will always be the times I would go over to his house and we would just hang out, watch movies and play COD mobile while screaming at each other. 

Surprise birthdays are always the best. Thank you for always opening your house to everyone and being a friend since the first day we met. Love you brother !
