Barbara Maczka was born in Warsaw Poland on the second of May 1934. She endured many hardships growing up in Poland during the Second World War and is a Holocaust survivor. She immigrated to the United States of America in 1973 with her husband Jerry Maczka and her son Stan Zielinski in search of a better life pursuing the American dream. They soon settled down in San Diego California and knew that this is where they wanted to be and they built their dream home overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They both remained happily together until their ending days. Barbara Maczka is survived by her two grandchildren Erica Hatlee and Richard Zielinski and also by her great granddaughter Isabella Zielinski. Barbara was always a very happy woman with a positive outlook on life. She had a huge heart and always had so much to give to others. She cared for those around her and had a great sense of humor. She is sure to be missed by all who knew her, may she rest in peace and always be with us in our hearts. Mass will be held at St.Mary Magdalene 1945 Illion St. San Diego, CA 92110 on Sat. March 21st, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Followed by reception at 2675 Burgener Blvd. San Diego CA 92110 at 11:30 a.m. May 2nd 1934 - February 25th 2015
