

A native of Chinook, Montana, Anna Mary was the only child of H.M. “Mac” Montgomery and Mary (Duffey) Montgomery. Her early years were spent in Zurich, Montana, and Chinook. The family moved to San Diego in 1947.
A 1941 graduate of Chinook High School, Anna Mary attended Columbus School of Nursing in Great Falls, Montana, graduating in 1945.
Anna Mary worked for 28 years as a nurse in a dermatology office.
After retiring, Anna Mary cared for her mother when Mrs. Montgomery’s health began to fail.
Anna Mary enjoyed traveling and proudly recalled visiting 55 countries even setting foot on Antarctica.
She was a devout Catholic and an active member of Young Ladies Institute (YLI), a Catholic women’s organization.
Blessed are those who died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them.
