Vincent was preceded in Death by his wife of 50 years, Eleanor.
He was the last of 13 children born to Antonio and Petra Padilla.
He is survived by his sons Vincent Jr. (Valerie and John; his grandchildren Vincent III and Katie (Alex) and his Great GranddaughterZethra.
Born in East Highlands (Mi Ranchito), CA, he graduated from Redlands High School and was drafted into the service. He was a veteran of World War II in Europe, stationed in England with the U.S. Army Air Corps (now the U.S. Air Force) serving as a Military Policeman.
Vincent volunteered as a Reserve Officer at the San Bernardino Police Department early in his life. He worked for the Street Department, City of San Bernardino for just over 38 years.
He and his wife were Foster Parents for over 35 years and he also coached Little League Baseball for over 35 years.
Very active in his Catholic Faith, he sang in the Church Choir and helped out at Christ the King Catholic Church in San Bernardino, CA.
A member of the Knights of Columbus Del Rosa Council 4488 and a Sir Knight of the Fray Francisco Dumetz Assembly 0055.
Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. Adelaide Catholic Church, 27457 E. Baseline Street, Highland, CA 92346, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Adelaide Catholic Church. Interment will be held at Mtn View Cemetery after Mass.
