My brother Steven was a real trooper, when he set his mind to a task, it got done one way or another. I remember when he was going to Villa Park High School and if all things he went out for track! Well the day of his race, a run that just had to be done  well, poor steven had stubbed his toe really bad and it was even hard for him to walk, let alone run! But Steven wouldn't let that stop him and if all things it started raining. By the time of his race, it was pouring down rain, but his race went on! Because of his toe, he ended up falling behind and it was obvious that he wasn't going to win! All the runners had passed the finish line, but Steve was still running! As he neared the finish line, the whole crowd of onlookers began cheering him on! He kept going and when he finally crossed the finish line the whole crowd applauded him and treated him  as if he was the first one across the line!
Well, in the bible it talks about running the race to the bitter end! Well, that was my brother! And prior to his death, he was once again running that race, except this time he was doing it for the Lord!
I' know my brother made it to heaven, he and his wife Judy had both received the Lord into their lives together and were baptised together 
My brother is a true sportsman, a true runner!
There are several biblical references, but the one that stands out the most and reminds me of my brother is Hebrews 12:1; Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin, which clings so closely , and let us run, with endurance the race that is set before us.
And he did, he ran, he ran right into the arms of Jesus and he's waiting there in paradise for the rest of us to join him!
The days are short, and the timing of the Rapture is nearing and before we know it, we to will be in the arms of our Lord!
I don't mourn as much as I celebrate for my brother, I'm very blessed to know that all of our family are saved! See you soon big br
