6/2/1997-10/5/2020
Our beloved and amazing son, Seth, passed away on 10/5/2020. It was a complete shock and unexpected. Seth was born in San Bernardino, California and passed away at his home in Crestline, California.
He is survived by his mother and father, Dawn and Troy McHenry, Brother Zach McHenry, grandmother Diane Sombati, uncle and auntie Darren and Christina Rusk, cousin Joslyn, uncle and auntie David and Danielle Sombati Strauss, many cousins, and dear, dear friends all over the mountain community.
He was preceded by his grandfather Darryl Rusk, grandfather John Sombati, step-great grandparents Louis and Archie Sombati.
He grew up in Crestline and graduated from Rim of the World High School in 2015. He was a baseball player from T-Ball in Little League through graduation at Rim. So many wonderful friends, coaches, and experiences as a catcher. He also was a great football player from age 10 through high school as a DE/LB and played with his brother for a few years - The “McHenry Sandwich”. After high school he attended Crafton Hills College for a short time and later earned his EMT license. He worked at Leroy’s Clothing, Milestone MX and Perris Raceways as an EMT and track manager. He recently began as a roofing estimator at Copp Roofing with buddy Nick Crisp and was excelling and loving his new job. Besides being a hard-worker, Seth was so talented in many areas.
He was known for his great wit and could make so many people laugh and flash his beautiful smile. He was known for reaching out to anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on, an encouraging word, or a hug and a visit. He was very creative and started a clothing brand, Aesthetic Studios, where he made his own designs. He was great with children and was so gentle. He had a love of music and made everyone listen to his favorite songs. He rode dirt bikes and his Harley with Jake Hearst. He scared and amazed us with those wheelies. He loved animals and had rescued a fox, and several dogs. He loved to fish Lake Arrowhead and shoot his guns. He always pushed the limits and lived his best life. We miss him every second.

We plan to use much of the donations we have so generously received to build a legacy of donations across this mountain from animal rescues, to vocational studies, to sports.
Always remember to reach out to those you love and care about because it means more than you will ever know.
