Rosa attended San Bernardino High School. During her lifetime Rosa worked for several companies and San Bernardino County. In the early ears she worked for Mattel Toys, San Bernardino County and the Inland Center Mall. In 1969 while working for Mattel, she completed cosmetology school. She has a passion for doing her hair, nails and make up. She later went on to work for Santa Fe Railroad as an Electrician Helper. After working there for 19 years, she retired.
During her lifetime she raised and supported many generations of her family. She lived to see five generations of her descendants. Rosa was loved by everyone, and she loved her family. Everyone that knew Rosa, knew she had a special bond with her son Curtis. Curtis was the apple of her eye. He lovingly cared for her until her passings. One of her favorite things to do was going to Las Vegas. Whenever anyone would say "Are you ready to go to Las Vegas?" she would smile all day!
Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Alma Alexander, 5 brothers, Clyde Alexander, Joe Alexander, William Alexander, Jimmie Alexander and Freddie Holmes. 2 sisters, Leila Holmes and Verna Fowler.
Rosa leaves to mourn her passing, her son Curtis Waller, a host of nieces, nephews and her best friend Phylis Vivian.
