Robert Elmo Johnson

Robert Elmo Johnson, 76, of San Bernardino, passed away August 23, 2016. He was born in Spanish Fork, Utah on October 17, 1939. Robert graduated from Fontana High School and received his Associates in Arts from San Bernardino Valley College and a licensed professional engineer with the State of California #27979. He was married to Ada Karyn Jones from December 14, 1957-1981, Loretta P. Forte from March 20, 1982-1991 and Elizabeth Ann Geisen from September 28, 1999-April 11, 2012. Robert had a career in Civil Engineering for California Transportation (CALTRANS: CEO of San Luis Obispo County) He was a member of Professional Engineers of California, American Society of Civil Engineers and had a passion for Sudoku, Reading and Brandy. Robert also served in the United States Air Force. He was survived by Children; Robert Todd Johnson, Melynda Dawn Rowlett, Cynda Lynn Johnson and Lance Russell Johnson (Deceased Oct. 1989), Grandchildren; Todd C. Johnson, Ryan Rowlett, Zachary Rowlett, Brandyn Rowlett and Shinaya Rowlett, Sisters; Barbara Mitchell, Kaye McCoy and Jeanine Pell. Funeral Services will be September 3, 2016 at 12:00pm.
