Randy and his mother returned to the U.S. in 1959 where he eventually started his childhood education at Rio Vista Elementary School in San Bernardino CA. He attended Cajon High School but graduated from San Gorgonio High School in San Bernardino.
After graduation and before he entered the military, he had a beautiful baby girl, Erica Renee. He enlisted in the United States Marine Reserve in San Bernadino, California in 1977. After seven months, he transferred to Active Duty, served two tours overseas, one tour in Guam and another in Okinawa, Japan. Upon returning to the United States, Lance Corporal was assigned to Twenty-Nine Palms Training Base, California. After military services, he worked od the Avionic Department at Norton AFB, California.
When he came back to San Bernardino, he also met and married Pamela. That union produced 3 beautiful children. Randi Me’Chelle, Shannon Ni’cole, and Demetrius Jo’van. Randy wound up back in England when his family got stationed there. His girls picked up British accents and his son was born abroad there in the United Kingdom, just as he was. Eventually, Randy came back to America and his family followed later.
Randy was an introvert and very much to himself most times, so he rarely had many words or liked taking pictures but when he did, he was known always have been kind, sincere and respectful. He was smart, could fix anything and made his way by working odd jobs, mainly as an Electrician. As a handy man of sorts, he could always find work. Randy was always a happy- go-lucky guy in nature and lived his life the way HE wanted to.
Randy will be missed by his numerous friends and family.
