I know that your soul can hear me Pauline.  I want you to know how fortunate I am to have met you and worked with you.  When I think of memories of you, the vision of you smiling pops into my mind.  You were always happy and friendly and caring.  You made me laugh alot, and I loved being around you.  I am truly saddened that you had to leave this world so soon.  I want your family to know just how special you are.

This was Pauline and our son Dino (neighbor) last Halloween. She was always so generous and friendly. We will miss her and her friendly spirit.

Someone once said, “A person has a lot of good friends because they are a good friend”. That is how I remember Pauline. I worked with Pauline for 18 years. To say she was dedicated to her job goes without saying. But she was also dedicated to the people she worked with and supported. You could always count on Pauline to greet you with a “Good morning Little Miss”, no matter if she knew you or not. Over the many years of working with her, we had more laughs than I can even count. She never wanted to be the center of attention. Even on her last day at work we had to practically kidnap her to get her to her going away celebration.

Pauline’s volunteering was unlimited. She made homemade rosaries; she collected winter coats for the homeless; helped with sewing blankets for the poor; cooked food for those in need; saved pop can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House for years. For years she organized the end of year Admin Ornament Exchange, often buying each admin an extra little gift. She would buy lotto tickets and pass them out to support staff at work every Christmas. Pauline was the first to donate money toward a gift for a sick employee or donate vacation hours to a coworker who needed it, and so many more volunteering opportunities about which we do not even know. But the most important people in her life were of course, her extended family. Pauline did all of this without any accolades or recognition.

I was lucky to have known Pauline all these years and am so grateful for her friendship. Pauline touched my life and the lives of many others with her generous spirit.

Pauline was one of my dearest friends.  When she moved away, it was tough not having her close by, but we stayed connected and always made a point to get together whenever we had the opportunity.  We had just done this only a few weeks before her passing. I am truly devastated that we won’t be able to have another opportunity in the future.  Pauline was always there for everyone.   She was the person you would go to for answers, help, and true friendship.   We have been co-workers and friends for over 25 years.  Pauline was a family member to me and both of my daughters.   Pauline's kindness and love were a great influence on both of my daughters.  She attended their weddings and baby showers through the years and even took time to visit my daughter in Omaha when she was nearby.  Our hearts are broken that she has left us.  We will carry her memory with us in our hearts forever.  We are so blessed to have had Pauline in our lives.  She will never be forgotten.

Rhett & I offer our deepest condolences to the Machain family.  The world has lost a true angel in Pauline. For over 25 years, Pauline was, not just a co-worker, but a true friend.  With her impish grin, she always made everyone feel welcome and appreciated.  She had the biggest heart. She readily shared stories of her family (which she cherished) as I shared mine with her.  She was my first visitor in the hospital when our son was born.  I am sad that our retirements took us to opposite coasts and our recent conversations less frequent.  I 
know she will be sorely missed by her Aurora TRW/NG family.  Rest is peace, “Little Miss” ❤️

Hello~ I work at NG and have not been in the office in years but, I fondly remember Ms. Pauline. She was always friendly and acknowledged everyone with a kind smile and "hello".  A kind soul who blessed not only our hallways but all who passed by her.

Thank you Pauline for your support over the years. I will always remember your kind heart, generous spirit, and wonderful smile. A Saint.

Condolences on the loss of Pauline, an angel of a friend.  More than thirty years ago I was blessed by the unkind words of a third party which resulted in Pauline declaring, "You and me, we are best friends now."  
She was a true best friend and volunteered me to help her with many charitable and other events.  I adored her honesty and ability to share bad news in a positive manner.  She is/was a blessing in my life.
Words fail to express the devastation of her sudden loss. Tears and grieving have not ceased, but memories and stories are providing some comfort.  
 Thank you dear friend for being such a colorful and prominent flower in my life's garden.  I will carry you in my heart always.  Rest in peace.

I worked with Pauline at Northrop Grumman and she was such a wonderful, caring and positive person.  My deepest condolences to a life cut to short.  Wishing her family peace and comfort in this difficult time.

Pauline was like a surrogate mother to me - she was always such a treasure in my life, and I'm so thankful that I got to know her over so many years! This picture was from summer 2022 when Pauline was visiting the Omaha, NE area. We met for lunch so that Pauline could meet my daughter (5 years old), and so that we could catch up after years apart. To this day my little one still talks about what a nice lady Ms. Pauline was, and how much she enjoyed getting lunch together. I'm so grateful that my child was able to meet Pauline because she truly was such a unique and wonderful person. This meet-up will always be a treasured memory.

Pauline was SO much more than a trusted and reliable coworker.  For me, she was a funny, caring, generous, thoughtful, wonderful friend for almost 28 years.  She was my steadfast confidante, monster movie watching partner, book and recipe sharer, lunch buddy, an aunt to my son, and a delightful, constant presence in my life near or far.

Pauline was extremely empathetic – during happy times, she was filled with joy for me and during inevitable bad times, she would cry for me.  She made me laugh with her hilarious stories of her “very serious life”.  She taught me so much about what it means to be a true friend.

To know Pauline was to know each of her parents, siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Family was EVERYTHING to Pauline.  I know that there was nothing she would not do for her family.  And Pauline made me feel like part of that family.  I smile with a lump in my throat knowing that her Dad was waiting for her with open arms.

There was only one Pauline.  She was a rare, special, irreplaceable shiny star.  The world is that much dimmer with her passing.
I was more than blessed to count her as my friend.  I miss her more than words can say and I will miss her for the rest of my life.
