Pamela A. Byrnes-O’Camb, 71, of San Bernardino passed February 11, 2017 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves her beloved husband Daniel, her daughter Melissa, and sons Geoffry and Justin.
She was born in Fort Monmouth, NJ to the Byrnes family. She moved to California in October of 1978 and met her husband while square dancing. Pamela and Daniel were married for 34 years. Pamela and Deacon O’Camb have remained long time members of Our Lady of the Assumption, where she assisted greatly with Daniel’s deaconship and lead the 4:30PM choir on Saturday and the 8:00AM choir on Sunday. Pamela worked as the City Clerk of Loma Linda for 38 years. She served on the Board of Directors of the San Bernardino Pregnancy & Family Resource Center. Pamela was an avid animal lover and rescued all of her pets. She held artistry in her direction of music, her gift in sewing, her knack for cooking, her ability to bake the most delicious treats and her exemplary knitting skills.
The viewing will be held from 4:00-8:00PM, the Vigil services will begin at 6:00PM, with a rosary being said at 7:00PM on February 21, 2017 at Mt. View Mortuary in San Bernardino. Funeral services will be held on February 22, 2017 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church and burial services will follow at Mt. View Mortuary. There will be a celebration of life gathering at Our Lady of the Assumption after the burial services.
