Mary Gonzales

Mary Gonzales age 91, of Yucaipa Ca. passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on June 26, 2024. She was born September 18, 1932 to her parents Visente and Simonita Gallegos in Maes, New Mexico on the family farm. She later moved to Colorado where she met and married her first husband, William J. Ramirez. They had two sons Lenny and Marty then later moved to California, and had two more children, Nick and Juanita. She would later marry her second husband, Foster Gonzales. Mary worked in various positions and ended her last employment in healthcare, caring for the elderly. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, watching the birds, and enjoying the flowers in the garden. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family and loved taking long rides in the car. She also enjoyed going to the casino. She was an active member of her church, Wildwood Calvary Chapel, where she looked forward to hearing God‘s word and was baptized at age 90 alongside her grandson Anthony. She was preceded in death by both husbands, two sons, a great grandson and seven siblings. She is survived by two brothers Amedeo and Laudente Gallegos of New Mexico, her son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Sheila whom she lived with and her daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Steve Ruiz, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grand children, all of whom she loved very much. She will be missed greatly, but always will be in our heart. A Memorial service will be held at Mountain View Mortuary, 570 E. Highland Ave San Bernardino CA 92404 on Friday, August 9 at 11 AM then followed by her burial.
