Luis Reyes Martinez

Luis Reyes Martinez (80), a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on September 3, 2024 with his loved ones by his side in San Bernardino, California. He was born on June 21,1944 to Juan and Concepsion Martinez in San Bernardino "Kingman street". Louis was one of 11 siblings - five sisters and five brothers. He is survived by two sisters Christina Martinez and Jenny Torres.

Luis (Louie) is survived by his beloved, beautiful wife of 59 years Theresa Martinez and his children, Henry Martinez,Yolanda De La Cruz and Joseph Martinez. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Luis was an ironworker for local 416 for many years, after his retirement he enjoyed doing cement work with his brothers and friends. Some of his hobbies were camping, hunting and just enjoying his time with his wife kids and family. He was part of a jeep club called "los compadres". He enjoyed taking care of his grandkids and his son's ranch in Muscoy where he made many great memories. He lived a great life and was loved and cherished by many. He was always surrounded by family and friends. He will be truly missed.

Viewing will be held on Monday September 23rd at Mt. View Mortuary from 3-7pm. Rosary starts at 5:00pm.

Mass will be Tuesday September 24th at St. Anthony's church in San Bernardino at 10:00am.

Following his Burial at Mt. View cemetery at 11:30.

We will be having a reception at knights of Columbus at 1:00pm. All our welcome to join us for a gathering to celebrate Louie's life.
