We are sad to announce that Katherine Frances Reyes, age 95, a lifelong resident of Highland, California passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Katherine was born in California to Cecilia and John Salas on December 5th1927.
Katherine had a love for crossword puzzles and coloring. She very much enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Katherine is survived by her son Stevie Reyes; her daughter Henrietta Acuna, her daughter Priscilla Reyes, her daughter Ellie Reyes, her daughter Paula Contreras, her daughter Kathy Reed and her daughter Diana Reyes.
Katherine was preceded in death by her mother Cecilia Salas and her father John Salas; her sister Jenny Ariola; her sister Carol; her sister Estella; her brother Henry and her brother Ernie; as well as her daughter Gloria Delgado.
Katherine also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Katherine will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.
