"Mom, We know it was hard for you to leave us. However, we take comfort in knowing that you’re no longer in pain and in a better place. You always promised to stay with us until you knew we’d be able to make it on our own. Thank you for the confirmation. Being a wonderful, nurturing, and caring mother and grandmother, you raised three children on your own and spent so much time nurturing your three grandchildren. Those are memories we all will cherish forever. They will never forget their Oma, and we will never forget our Mom. The things you wanted above anything in life were to be genuinely happy, surrounded by loving family, and to be a great mom and grandmother. You more than surpassed those goals and aspirations. Thank you for all the pleasant memories, hard lessons, and entertaining experiences; good, bad, and ugly, they shaped us into who we are today, and we wouldn’t trade it for a thing. We sure are going to miss you, even though we know you’ll always be with us watching over us, making sure we are safe. We love you forever and always. Thank you for being our mom.”
