Took Nana and Nella to a Dodgers game. I had to find seats and elevators to where she never had to use any steps. It was tricky but we figured it out. Nana loved her Dodgers.

Christmas time. On this day Nana taught me (again) taught me how to make flour tortillas. I still can’t make them. My family has to eat authentic “Mission” tortillas from the grocery store.

Daniella’s wedding. Nana wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Amaya was her buddy.

Nana made me, I mean allowed me, to take her to church down here. She loved it.

I can’t believe it’s been 1 year since you left this earth. I still think of you and miss you every day. This was the last photo I took with you just 4 days before you left us. I love you and miss you Nana.

It’s been a year since you left this place. Time goes by so quickly.  It gives me peace to know God has given you the final peace that no one else can give. I praise God for His mercy he gives to all of us.

This is the last video I took with my nana. It was I exactly one week before she died. I sensed something wasn’t right and I wanted to capture a live memory with her. Today she will be laid to rest and my heart is broken. Rest in peace Nana. Til we see each other in heaven.  Your firstborn grandchild - Renee

Her love was endless and Her faith in Jesus through the Catholic Church was inspiring. She prayed so many novenas for me and never gave up on me. She taught me about the Holy Mass and how to pray the Holy Rosary . 
She always believed in me when no one else did. I love you Nana and dedicate my life and service to Jesus in your memory.

My Nana lived a long life. She survived a lifetime of challenges from being a single mother raising 10 children to outliving 4 of them. She leaves a beautiful legacy of 37 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. We will miss her dearly! This photo was taken exactly 1 week from the day she entered heaven. I love you Nana! I will try to always keep making you proud! Renee
