Haywood A. Turner

Haywood was born in Posey, Illinois and proceeded in death by his parents John and Hattie Turner. He is the 7th of 10 children born to John and Hattie Turner. He was widowed by Ida Osseree Meredith. His deceased siblings are: James, Mary, Ella, John, Edward, Raymond, Helen, and Hannah. He is survived by his younger sister Opal. He had 7 children (Don'L, Ossaree, Jackie, Elmer, Wendell deceased) and is survived by his two children Armilla Staley and Haywood Turner Jr.

Attended Posey Central School and worked as a truck driver, Haywood was an avid bowler, beloved husband, father, grand father, and uncle.

He had 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 38 great-great grandchildren. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral visitation will be from 9:30-10:00, with service held from 10:00-11:00 and burial at 12:00. Funeral will be held at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino CA 92404.
