Darlene Russo, 71, of Winchester, California, passed away on January 12, 2021. Darlene was born in Ogden, Utah on October 28, 1949 and moved to San Bernardino with her family as a child. Darlene graduated from Pacific High School and later attended trade school to become a Press Operator.
Darlene never remarried after the death of her husband of 43 years, Don, who she missed terribly, but is with him again.
Besides being a wonderful mother, Darlene had a career as a Plater at Deutsch in Banning, until a work-related injury made her switch gears. She went on to become a Press Operator until her bad back forced her into retirement.
Among supporting and getting involved in baseball and scouts with her kids, Darlene enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to music, watching the Dodgers and Dolphins, and occasional penny ante poker with the family.
Darlene is survived by her son Robert, daughter-in-law Joy, her grandchildren, Paul, Kaylynn, and Emily, and estranged son Mark.
While we all grieve her loss, we can take solace knowing that Darlene is once again with her soulmate Don, her mom and dad, brothers Darrel, Jack, Jerry, and one of her best friends Shirley.
