Brenda accepted Jesus Christ, as her LORD and Savior, in 2005. One of her favorite Scriptures, Jeremiah 29:11, shows that she understood that everything that happened was in God’s plan.
She began her formal education in the Los Angeles, California area, where it soon became evident how brilliant she was. She was a Graduate of the University of Southern California, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Electrical Engineering, and received her Masters of Education from Capella University.
Brenda was an Application Engineer at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Technology, until the LORD called her home. She was a Senior Learning Consultant/Trainer at Kaiser Permanente Consultant at Mentor Graphics. She also worked for General Dynamics and Hughes Aircraft.
Brenda was a successful business owner and operator of 1-800-GOT JUNK.
Brenda was actively involved in several social clubs including, roller skating, snow skiing, water skiing, and jet skiing. She also loved to travel with friends.
Brenda was a devoted daughter. She was a “second Mother” to her niece and nephews, and was a generous soul. As a little girl she was a tomboy rejecting lace on her outfits as too girly, (until she discovered boys)! She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a karaoke queen; she had a beautiful voice! She was a loving little sister, willing to give advice as though she was the big sister. She had a big laugh, and always had a smile on her face, even though her illness, and a fighter to the end. She was known for telling you exactly what she thought. She was quick-witted and had good sense of humor. Even though she couldn’t cook a lick, she was a connoisseur of fine foods.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her Mother, Vernice; Sister Janice; brother Dave; niece Briana, (her God-daughter); nephews Kevin, Dedrick and Daryl; uncles Daniel, Alexander, Arthur, William, Jr., Lorenzo, and Sammy. And, several cousins, a host of relatives, and friends.
