 I had the privilege of spending the last 30 years with Miss Betty.   She watched my family grow up and we watched her grow older. Her countless stories and experiences she often shared with my children are priceless. We will always remember her. I look out my window every day expecting to see her and realizing that she’s not coming home is hard.  I know that she’s in the presence of our Lord and it’s surrounded by love and acceptance And probably still watching out for us. It was a pleasure knowing her she was exceptional.

 Betty welcomed us to the house across the street and neighborhood in 1996 with a goodie basket. She was definitely from a different time as this gesture felt like something out of Mayberry... She would spread love everywhere she went. Ever since the day we moved in she always looked out for us. She watched us all grow into adults. We truly loved her. She truly inspired many generations. She will be missed and her stories will live on with us... Thank you Betty for so many stories to share. <3
