Sylvia Perrill

Sylvia is preceded in death by her mother, Maria de Jesus Diaz and one niece and one nephew.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jesse Villarreal of Harlingen, TX; 3 sons, Marcos (Veronica) Perrill III of Spring, TX, Mitchell (Victoria) Perrill of League City, TX, Mike (Jennifer) Perrill of League City, TX; 7 grandchildren, Eliana, Marcos IV, Mason, Madison, Matthew, Gabriel and Olivia Perrill; father, Porfirio Diaz of Harlingen, TX; 4 brothers, Porfirio Jr. (Yolanda) Diaz of Loreauville, Louisiana, Aaron (Norma) Diaz of Harlingen, TX, Fabian Diaz of Harlingen, TX, and Adrian (Sylvia) Diaz of Harlingen, TX. She is also survived by 4 sisters, Janie Amaya of San Antonio, TX, Norma Garcia of Baytown TX, Mirelia (Cesar) Arguelles of San Antonio, TX, and Sonia (Brett) Lambert of San Benito, TX.

Sylvia had an avid passion for bringing family together with her great cooking. She enjoyed shopping/bargain hunting, interior decorating, gardening, singing karaoke with her family and taking road trips with the sisters. She will be greatly missed for her beautiful sense of humor, compassionate heart and strong character. Sylvia had a strong will to live and fought hard to her last minute. Dibbers or Dibbs, as her family lovingly called her, was simply an amazing soul and took her final road trip home to be with our Lord.

A visitation for Sylvia will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta with a rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will occur Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St Benedict's Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St,, San Benito, TX with Burial to follow at 11:00 am at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
