Ruben Huerta III

Ruben enjoyed many activities such as, fishing, hunting, gaming, going to the beach, and jamming out to music on the open road. He was always in his cowboy boots, cowboy hat, with a huge smile, and a great infectious laugh. Ruben would always put others before himself, he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was a very selfless, caring, and loving person.

Ruben has gone home to be with the Lord and his little brother. He will also be joining his beloved family members that passed before him at the golden gates of Heaven. Although, he'll still be in our hearts there will be a void in all those who love him. He will be remembered with a loving smile and heart of gold. It's not a goodbye, it's a see you soon.

Ruben is survived by his daughter, Adeline Huerta; his mother, Reyna Isela (Eli Cortez); his father, Ruben Huerta Jr.; his grandpa, Ruben Huerta; his brothers, Rogelio Martinez and Elijio Cortez Jr; his sisters, Eliana Cortez, Stephanie Cortez, and Mariana Cortez; his uncles, Rolando Huerta (Sadie), Felipe Huerta (Anna), Rey Huerta (Lisa), Ronnie Huerta, Hugo Flores and Adrian Flores, and his aunts, Nelda Lozito (Mike) and Beatriz Ramirez.

Ruben was preceded in death by his brother, Angel Isaiah Flores; his grandma, Reyna Flores, his grandpa Angel Flores, and his grandma, Noemi Huerta.

A Visitation for Ruben will be held Monday, February 27, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas 78586. A Chapel Funeral Service will take place Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
