Mary Guillen

Mary is survived by her loving husband Ricardo Guillen, her son Ryan (Yogema) Guillen, daughter Teresita Guillen and eleven siblings; Roger (Letty) Romero, Viola Manzanares, Alicia (Peter) Villarreal, Gloria (Bizhan) Pezeshki, Teresa Romero, Socorro (Todd) Langley, Louie (Letty) Romero, Robert (Meredith) Romero, Javier Romero, Isabel (Paul) Dao, and Maricela Cardle. She is also survived by countless nieces and nephews, plus many grand nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Bulfrano and Aurora Romero and her sister Gracie Mendoza.

Mary was a devout Christian full of compassion who spent her time in the service of others. She lived the scriptures, namely Matthew 22:37-40, above all, Love the Lord your God and Love your neighbor as yourself. She was in constant communication with others, checking in to see how they were and if they needed anything.

She loved the kitchen and frequently baked, gifting her creations to friends and family. She was a generous soul who knew no boundaries when it came to giving. Mary loved and cared for all of God’s creatures. She had a passion for caring for and rescuing animals in need. Mary loved Disney and loved to travel with family and friends.

Overall and throughout, Mary always wore a smile. She believed and knew that life isn’t always full of reasons to smile, but that your smile gives others a reason to smile too.

A Visitation will held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta, with a Rosay at 7:00 PM.

A Funeral Church Mass will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM at, St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX 78586, with a Burial to follow at 2:00 PM, at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Services are under the guidance of Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Mont Meta Memorial Park, a dignity memorial provider. Services are under the direction of Shellie Vidos F.D.A, and Daniel Roberto Gomez, location manager.
