Maria O Alonso

Maria was a loving mother, sister, aunt and Grandmother. She found joy in gardening, and loved to cook. Maria loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Maria is survived by her nine children Sarita A. Contreras, Estela Lucio, Daniel Alonso, Elias Alonso, Saul Alonso, Alejandro Alonso, Maria L. Reyes, Luis Alonso and Josefina Alonso Avalos; her sister Maria Del Refugio Ortega De Salinas; and her grandson Nestor Hurtado. Maria also leaves behind grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren all who will miss her dearly.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband Alejandro Alonso Sr; her parents Pedro & Ildefonsa Ortega.

A Visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas 78586. A Chapel Funeral Service with burial to follow immediately at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
