She was born to Mateo and Celedonia Guerrero Mancillas on July 30, 1934, in San Benito, TX.
Guadalupe worked hard all her life and retired on April 15, 2023.
Guadalupe in her leisure time: She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking for her family, carpentry, gardening, outdoor activities, and playing chalupa, and bingo with her family and friends. She loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren, and relatives. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with her church family.
Left to treasure Guadalupe's memory: Her husband of 74 years Vicente Mendoza; Daughters: Angie Villarreal, and Janie Mendoza, Sons: Rojerio (Anna) Mendoza, Vicente (Anna) Mendoza Jr., 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren, brother; Romero (Maria) Mancillas, and sister in law Virginia Ybarra, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her beloved dogs, Reina and Bella.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by her parents; Mateo and Celedonia Guerrero Mancillas, daughter Sylvia (Bill) Morrison, grandson Eduardo " Eddie" Mendoza, brothers Mateo (Enriqueta) Mancillas, Raul (Lydia) Mancillas, Ruben ( Aurelia) Mancillas, Sister: Lydia (Refugio) Sanchez.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Gabriel Mendoza, Stephen Morrison, Javen Lopez, Vicente Mendoza III, Mathew Mendoza, Jacob Ledesma, John Damien Banda, and Michel Banda.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Rojerio Mendoza, Vicente Mendoza Jr., Rojerio Mendoza Jr., Sabrina Mendoza, Sally Martinez, Hailey Banda, Nathaniel Banda, Samantha Day, Belinda Silva, Sandra Silva, Theresa and Preston Antunez.
Guadalupe's family would like to thank all her doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
A visitation for Guadalupe will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta with burial to follow at 11:00 AM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
