Federico Solis

Federico commonly referred to as “Fred” or “Cuate” was a loving father, brother, neighbor, and friend. Fred worked for and retired from The City of San Benito as a mechanic. He also worked for a local car dealership for over 20 years as a service writer. Fred enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His generous spirit was felt by all who knew and loved him. He was a proud father to his four children Javier, Rudy, Veronica, and Jessica. Fred will always be remembered for his witty character, his sense of humor, and his generous heart. Fred also loved his furry family members. Ginger, his dog, brought him loads of joy. Fred will be remembered as a man who encouraged for people to show love and respect for others. Also, he modeled for others to put your heart into everything you do and demonstrated hard work. Fred will be greatly missed!

Federico is survived by his sons Javier Solis & Rudy Solis (spouse Yvette); his daughters Veronica Solis (spouse Mike) & Jessica Solis (spouse Pete); mother of his children Julia Amaya; his brothers Rodolfo Solis, Rumaldo Solis, Rafael Solis, his sisters Nydia Mata, Ninfa Ramirez, Flora Lozano (Twin sister), Angelica Cortez and Estela Garcia; his grandchildren Samantha Solis, William Solis, Matthew Solis, Victoria Solis, Mia Pierson, Aiden Del Angel, Keith Koite, Daedre Koite and Katherine Koite and his Pet Ginger. Federico also leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends all who will miss him dearly.

Federico was preceded in death by his parents Catarina & Rodolfo Solis; his brother Eleazar Solis; his sister Gloria Solis and his brother Ruben Solis; his granddaughter Sophie Solis and nephew Rodolfo Solis III.

A visitation for Federico will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta Chapel,with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta Chapel with Burial to follow at 11:00 AM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Rafael Solis, Keith Koite, Pete Koite, Jacob Fonseca, Michael Perez, Tony Lozano. Honorary Pallbearers will be Aiden Del Angel and Mathew Solis.
